In 2 days we light the Advent candle of peace. Are we prepared for peace? This question arose for me in our Heart Listening group this morning as we read from St. Benedict: "Rid your heart of all deceit. Never give a hollow greeting of peace or turn away when someone needs your love."
In this season that is too busy for many of us, this takes intentionality and effort. May we mean what we say and say what we mean. Peace be with you. Have a good day. I mean it.
